Life dragging you down. Feel like you’re out of control, depressed, sad, exhausted, unmotivated. Well, I know what that’s like…I’ve been there, that’s how I can relate. You just feel like you’re going through the motions trying to get from one day to the next, one weekend to the next only to be completely drained and fatigued that it’s all you can do to pour yourself into bed. It doesn’t have to be like this? I know you feel powerless against it. So, let’s start with a simple exercise. I got this! Trust me— You ready? Ok, here we go:
- Lie on your back with knees bent
- Take a deep breath in SLOWLY, fill your BELLY with air, not your lungs
- Hold it for 3 seconds, then let it out SLOWLY
- Repeat 10 times
Most of the time we shallow breathe! It causes anxiety, fatigue, and depression just to name a few symptoms. Breathing helps you GAIN back your control so you can get through your day.
