Mark your calendars and step outside just after sunset and witness the Parade of Planets on January 21st. 6 planets will be in a rare alignment consisting of Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune, Venus and Saturn. Four of these planets will be easily visible to the naked eye which are: Mars, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn. If you happen to have some high-powered binoculars or a telescope lying around, you'll be able to see Neptune and Uranus.
If you want to nerd out, download a free sky map. There are multiple to choose from. Sky tonight is one, I use Sky Map. It's pretty fun to look at constellations and bright stars or planets in a way you might not be able to otherwise.
