Anneliese Swingle, ACE certified Personal Trainer and Health Coach, recently completed an intensive “Structural Assessment and Corrective Exercise” internship in San Diego, CA.
The class was conducted by Justin Price, 2006 IDEA Personal Trainer of the Year. He is one of the world’s foremost experts in structural assessment and corrective exercise and has been featured in Newsweek, Time magazine, the New York Times and the LA Times as well as consulted for MSNBC. Anneliese has been studying his methods for the last three years.
Structural assessment and corrective exercise is a biomechanically based assessment and corrective exercise method that enables personal trainers to provide real-life functional and aesthetic benefits for exercisers of all abilities.Trainers utilizing these methods help people eliminate pain caused by neuromuscular and musculoskeletal imbalances so they can regain or continue their active lifestyles. The assessment pinpoints the cause of pain; the exercises correct the cause- rather than just treat the symptoms.
