I’m so excited to share Hailey’s transformation with you.  When she came to me, she was really looking more for nutrition information, not so much weight loss.  Hailey had some health challenges that she wanted to take control of.  What she left with was so much more.  In her words:

I have regularly exercised for years (5x/week), but have learned that exercise isn’t enough, my eating habits needed to change. Six months ago I had blood work done that resulted in being pre-diabetic, borderline kidney disease, borderline LDL to name a few concerns. This was a wake up call for me that I needed to learn more about what foods I should and should not eat. I was frustrated as I really wasn’t overweight, thought I ate rather healthy and exercised daily. I shared my concerns with Anneliese and she thought I’d be a good fit for her program. I started the spring detox challenge and was excited about the weight loss and knew I needed to continue on and learn more for ME.

Vacationing is hard! I mean… let’s be real. The fun, the food, the weight gain… its tough.  So, yah sounds like I’m complaining– but I’m really not, because my philosophy is YOU GOTTA LIVE! It’s literally what I preach.  But here’s the kicker…. YOU CAN’T LIVE EVERY DAY.  Right? It’s truly about balance.  

Once you reach your ideal body weight it’s actually tougher to maintain it.  The easy part is losing it.  

It’s not about deprivation EVER! It’s not ONE SIZE FITS ALL.  It’s about what works for you. And discovering that.  It’s pretty hard to figure that out alone, but because I’ve been at this for… ok 28 years, there! I said it…. I’ve got it dialed in. 

It’s SUPER fun helping others dial it in. 

Yes, I gained 6 lbs vacationing for a week, but I know EXACTLY what to do to get it off in the LEAST amount of time.  

By following protocol I’m already down 3.2 lbs in just one day.  Ok,  ok…. a lot of that is water, but what happens when that’s back to normal?

I made it! Clean eating + portion control + hydration = 15 pounds lost!!! I’m down a pants size and am sleeping better than I have in years. On Wednesday I’m leaving for a 3 week vacation to Ireland and I’ll be taking a break from logging food. I’m confident that with the skills I learned here that I can get back into clean eating and will melt away any pounds gained on the trip. My 12 month goal is to lose the remaining 5 lbs to my goal weight.

My biggest non scale win is knowing I can rebound quickly from slips, and just knowing how to lose weight.  Thanks everyone for the support, and good luck with your journeys!!

We had these as an appetizer for Easter and….WOW!  Were they ever amazing.  Gotta try at least once in your lifetime….

Stuffed Artichokes:


  • 6 whole artichokes
  • 2 cups Italian bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1/4 cup parsley minced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil
  • Soak artichokes in cold water for 30 minutes.
  • To prepare the artichokes: Cut off stems of the artichokes with a sharp knife. Make sure the cut is straight so artichoke will stand flat. Slice off ¼ inch straight from the top of each artichoke (the prickly part). Stand the artichoke upside down and push firmly on the step to slightly open the leaves making room to catch the stuffing. Using scissors, cut the tip of each leaf straight across. Optional: You can also remove the purple leaves and the very center choke, which is very prickly, by grabbing it from the very bottom and pulling it straight out. I skip this step to save time but it’s a nice touch. Squeeze half of the lemon juice inside the artichoke. 
  • In a large bowl, mix together the bread crumbs, grated cheese, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper. Fill each leaf with the stuffing until artichokes are well packed.
  • Drizzle with olive oil then squeeze more lemon juice over the artichokes. Sprinkle with a little salt over the top and sides.
  • Put artichokes standing up into a wide pot large enough to hold the artichokes. Add enough water to cover just to the top of the bottom row of leaves of the artichokes. 
  • Add 1 tablespoon of salt in the pot. Cover and let the water come to a boil. Lower the heat and let the artichokes simmer for 45 minutes or until leaves are tender. Serve warm.

Anyone who knows anything about targets, knows how important it is to KNOW your target and beyond!  That goes  for hunting, weight loss and GOAL SETTING!  If you don’t know what your target is how can you hit it?  Making a goal as your target to “shoot” for reframes your mindset.  Goals can be so vague and seem impossible to achieve.  But if you think of a goal as a TARGET to aim at, they seem more reasonable.  Break your target down into 3 areas:  

  1.   7 day target:  what do you want to accomplish in 1 week
  2.   30 day target:  what do you want to see happen in 30 days (think of 3 “bullets”
  3.   90 day target:  what would it look like in 90 days if you hit your 7 day target along with your 30 day targets consistently?

At first you may not be accurate in your aim, but the more you practice the better you get!  TRUST ME!

Arielle’s results you guys….are just….well UNBELIEVABLE!  It’s all about STRATEGY – MINDSET – and ACCOUNTABILITY!!  When you have a plan and you work the plan this is what happens.  When you’re done trying to do it on your own and you ASK for help AMAZING THINGS HAPPEN!  I’m so blessed and honored she asked ME for help!!!  In her words:

Alright tribe here it is: I’m so nervous to post these pictures, but also excited. I walked into this journey with tears and I’m ending these 90 days with tears. They both mean something different. The tears in the beginning were fear. The tears now are happiness and pride!

When Anneliese and I had my interview call I left the call frustrated and full of fear. When she asked how ready I was to start, I have her my honesty and said I was an 8, because I was scared of failing and scared of the after 90 days. She told me I wasn’t ready. We decided to sleep on it and talk the next day. I was flooded with emotions, i felt rejected, and didn’t sleep. We visited the next day and after we both had time to think she invited me into the program.

I was ready for change!

Through this program I have had so many non scale wins!

Things I wanted to achieve:
A healthy LIFESTYLE, not just diet.
Weight loss.
Gaining my confidence back.
Healthy foods to cook and enjoy.
Becoming more fit.
Being my happy self again, that doesn’t worry about what others think.


I also noticed:
More consistent sleep.
Less cravings, I don’t reel deprived. 
I don’t hit a wall in the mid afternoon. 
I don’t have to take Sunday naps.
My headaches around my cycle are almost gone. 
My self esteem and confidence is back (my husband even noticed this one).

My inflammation in my wrists and ankles are gone.

I’m speechless! I love myself again. For so long I put myself on the back burner. Through this I have learned that it is okay, and my family supports me when I make myself a priority. My attitude has changed, I’m happier, rather then having inconsistent mood changes. I let things go a lot easier and I don’t dwell in them. I feel amazing!

My next chapter is to lose another 10 lbs, and continue to tone my body. I have a tribe set in place and will and also be in the fit force group. I will miss you all dearly and can’t wait to hear your success. I thank you all so much for the love and support you have given me through my journey. I have built lasting friendship and a tribe!

Sometimes you just gotta shout out:  IT WORKS!!  It really DOES work if you DO it!  I mean you have to commit!!  When you commit, things happen.  Look at Bianca’s 60 day results.  They are jaw dropping.  In her words:

60 day photo comparison! I’ve lost 13 pounds with 7 to go. I messed around a bit during my 30-60 day month and tried to introduce some foods back into my diet along with splurges. I lost the first 10 lbs by diet, and I’ll lose the second 10 by adding in heavy weight lifting. Even though I didn’t lose very much during my second month, i still lost weight, and I learned that I can go off clean eating and get back on track fairly quickly.

I have reached my 90 Day check-in and I did well. On December 1st I went cold turkey from all crackers, bread, pasta, cheese, and sugar (except what is in fruits and veggies). Amazingly I have not missed them and for someone whose diet consisted mainly of bread, potatoes, pasta, cheese and crackers, it was a huge step. Guess I was ready to feel better and not be running to the bathroom as soon as I was finished eating and that hasn’t happened in 3 months.

My totals for the 90 days are … 12.75″ lost, 18 lbs lost, 6.5% body fat decrease, 19.6 lbs fat mass lost, and 1.6 lbs of muscle gained. 

Proud of what I have accomplished and look forward to my next challenges of continuing to improve my health, lose more weight, build more muscle, drink more water and put all the elements of a healthy life together. I will keep pressing on! 😅

The most important part of this program has been non-scale #Wins … more energy, fewer naps due to sadness or lack of energy, feeling stronger, moving easier and climbing up and down things with comfort, not having stomach issues, feeling upbeat and motivated (most of the time), getting into a life routine that feels good, learning to say “NO” so I have time to focus on my health, and motivating others to start looking at their lifestyle and how they could make changes.
