Corrective Exercise utilizes the information from the CAD (Client Assessment Diagram) to incorporate proper exercises to treat the cause of deviations rather than treat the symptoms.Corrective Exercise involves three steps in the following order:

• Myofascial release-self massage
• Active Stretching
• Strengthening

Myofascial release uses two types of self-massage:

1) Self-Myofascial Release
2) Trigger Point Massage

Three types of Active Stretching include:

1) Passive Stretching
2) Active Stretching
3) Dynamic Stretching

Strength exercises may involve five different types:

1) Isometric
2) Single Joint
3) Multi-Joint
4) Kinetic Chain
5) Multi-Planar Coordinated Movements
